I currently have 4 Chinese Crested Hairless k-9's! They are a wonderful breed, yet I find myself informing my vet about the breed, isn't that what I pay her for? She knows very little about them. Without the internet there is not much where I am from about the breed. So I purchased this book along with several others to learn as much as I can and share with my vet! The book covers all the basic questions and answers that I have wondered and goolged about! I felt that it was very informative and verified what I already knew. I ordered it on a Friday and recived it the following Monday! Great seller!

The previous reviewer, probably due to a lack of information on the book on its Amazon page, was dissatisfied because he or she had purchased a book that is really intended for breeders and dog show people. For the right audience, it could be invaluable due to the information they can get from the pedigrees and from seeing the top winners in their breed in show poses. It does not provide information for owning, training or grooming the breed, because it is aimed at people who already know those things. For average pet owners, it only makes sense to buy the books in this series if they are determined to own everything with their breed in or on it, and have money to spend - or who wish to shop for a puppy and know what they are looking for in bloodlines and/or type and can get that information from pedigrees and show poses.
